Logistics Copilot on Microsoft Fabric

Replatformed logistics ETL to Fabric Dataflow Gen2 and Lakehouse, and designed structured-data and document-search paths for shipment KPIs and contract answers.

The problem

Shipment KPIs lived in ageing ETL jobs and contract terms lived in documents, so a question like “how are we performing against this contract?” meant manual work on both sides.

What I built

  • Replatformed the logistics ETL to Microsoft Fabric Dataflow Gen2 and a Lakehouse on Delta tables.
  • Built PySpark transformations, SQL views and Power BI models for shipment KPIs.
  • Designed two answer paths for the copilot: structured data for KPI questions, and Azure AI Search with Document Intelligence for contract questions.
